As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

There were other contributors (particular shoutouts to Andrew Kittredge for a brilliant three strikeout performance to work out of his own jam and to Pete Alonso for both the home run and the defense), but I’m going with Shane Baz for the Orioles’ 5-3 win over the Astros April 28. He worked 5.2 strong innings, allowing just one run on six hits/seven baserunners. He was the stopper the Orioles needed. It was enough for his first career #ManOfTheMatch.

Here’s the tally for the season:

Shane Baz-1 (April 28)
Jeremiah Jackson-3 (April 11, April 13, April 17)
Samuel Basallo-1 (April 20)
Gunnar Henderson-1 (April 7)
Coby Mayo-1 (April 22)
Tyler O’Neill-1 (March 29)
Cade Povich-1 (April 12)
Trevor Rogers-1 (March 26)
Adley Rutschman-1 (April 24)
Leody Taveras-1 (April 1)
Taylor Ward-1 (April 8)
Brandon Young-1 (April 6)
