Rogers First #ManOfTheMatch Of Orioles Season Thanks To Seven Shutout Innings On Opening Day

As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

Trevor Rogers wasn’t perfect and yet he was damn near perfect on Opening Day. He threw seven shutout innings in his 2026 debut, scattering seven base runners and looking very much the part of an ace. He held the Twins at bay long enough to finally get the offense going in a 2-1 Orioles win, nailing down his first #ManOfTheMatch of the season.
