As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Jeremiah Jackson provided more heroics with what proved to be the game winning three run homer in the Orioles’ 6-4 win over the Guardians April 17. That was the good news. The bad news was everything else that happened in Cleveland. Still, Jackson is now the commanding leader with three #MOTM honors.
Here’s the tally for the season:
Jeremiah Jackson-3 (April 11, April 13, April 17)
Gunnar Henderson-1 (April 7)
Tyler O’Neill-1 (March 29)
Cade Povich-1 (April 12)
Trevor Rogers-1 (March 26)
Leody Taveras-1 (April 1)
Taylor Ward-1 (April 8)
Brandon Young-1 (April 6)
