As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Leody Taveras made the most of his first start of the season, reaching base all four times in an 8-3 win over the Rangers April 1. He finished with two hits (including a double), two walks, a run scored and two RBI against his former team. It was enough for him to claim his first #ManOfTheMatch honor of the year.
Here’s the tally for the season:
Tyler O’Neill-1 (March 29)
Trevor Rogers-1 (March 26)
Leody Taveras-1 (April 1)
