As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Gunnar Henderson went 2-4 and added a walk but of course most importantly provided the difference with a two run homer off of lefty Chris Murphy in the Orioles’ 4-2 win over the White Sox April 6. It was enough for him to nail down his first #ManOfTheMatch of the season.
Here’s the tally for the season:
Gunnar Henderson-1 (April 7)
Tyler O’Neill-1 (March 29)
Trevor Rogers-1 (March 26)
Leody Taveras-1 (April 1)
Brandon Young-1 (April 6)
