Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

As you all are surely aware, the Ravens took care of business on Monday Night Football and gave one last gift on Christmas with a deciding victory 33-19 over the “NFL’s best team” in the 49ers. As a result, there are some Ass Pats to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further adieu:

Glenn’s Xmas night Pats:

5. TE Isaiah Likely

We’re all talking about Lamar’s side of this play. We’re not talking enough about Likely’s.

4. DC Mike Macdonald

Early on I was unnerved by how frequently George Kittle was open in space. I quickly became re-nerved.

3. CB Marlon Humphrey

Set the edge both literally and figuratively.

2. QB Lamar Jackson

Perhaps you forgot, he’s Lamar Jackson.

1. S Kyle Hamilton (Man of the Match)

He’s absolutely effing insane and we’re veering into “might go down as one of the great picks of all time” territory.

Griffin’s Xmas night Pats:

5. DE Brent Urban

Statistically had the best night of anyone on the defensive front, a summation of how great this group of pass-rush and run-stoppers have performed this season.

4. TE Isaiah Likely

Had the two biggest catches and plays of the game: the crossbody throw and catch from Lamar and the stiff arm.

3. HC John Harbaugh

Much like Brent Urban, I want to put the entire coaching staff here, so the leader of that staff and the locker room, John Harbaugh, deserves so much credit for this incredible run they’re on.

2. S Kyle Hamilton

It’s a different defense, a different team really, when he’s out there. Never seen anything like it. It’s Ed Reed-like stuff.

1. QB Lamar Jackson (Man Of The Match)

They’re calling this an MVP “race”?

We also recapped the Holiday weekend in NFL Picks with a little help from our friend Tim Barbalace after Tim had a not so great week, and as a result will have to pay a penalty for losing the week. You can listen as we recap the week and dish out some Pats here:

Here’s a look at the updated standings as we head in NFL Week 17 with Griffin firmly in hold of the ‘Scott Stapp’ position:
