Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner. In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.
The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.
As we all watched last night on primetime, the Ravens beat the Jaguars without much pushback last night in Jacksonville to stay solely atop the AFC as the #1-seed, as a result, we have some Ass Pats to hand out.
They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.
Without further adieu:
Glenn’s Week 15 Pats On The Ass:
5. RB Keaton Mitchell
It’s just so brutal and you just feel so awful.
4. S Kyle Hamilton
We weren’t sure if he was even going to play, then all he did was go out and completely dominate the first quarter.
3. DL Justin Madubuike
He should have had another one had it not been for an intentional grounding. The NFL needs to fix that so that the player that forces the grounding gets credit for the sack. It’s nonsense.
2. TE Isaiah Likely
That dawg. He’s got it in him.
1. QB Lamar Jackson (Man Of The Match)
The MVP talk is real again.
Griffin’s Week 15 Pats On The Ass:
5. Saftey Kyle Hamilton
The dude is just so good. After being a game-time decision, he played every snap and tipped that ball in the EZ to Ridley, maybe should’ve been a TD but he raised doubt and that was enough.
4. RG Kevin Zeitler
Super solid, Had to shoutout the OL, and he had the most flawless game of a group that rushed for over 200 yards in the second half alone!
3. TE Isaiah Likely
Made some HUGE catches, but almost more importantly, he was blocking his ass off, sealing an edge and making room for Lamar.
2. DL Justin Madubuike
I had felt like he was pricing himself out of Baltimore, and was fine with that notion… That doesn’t seem like an option anymore. Trevor Lawrence didn’t look good and that’s because Madubuike didn’t even give him a chance.
1. QB Lamar Jackson (Man Of The Match)
No words. Imagine thinking he wasn’t worth that contract?
