Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

As you all are surely aware, the Ravens made it look easy in their Week 7 win over the Lions as they barely let Detroit get out of the gate in a 38-6 thrashing, as a result, we have some Ass Pats to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further adieu:

Glenn’s Week 7 Pats On The Ass:

5. LB Roquan Smith

Breaking: Roquan Smith is good. More at 11.

4. OT Ronnie Stanley

He’s kinda speaking on behalf of the entire Offensive Line, but considering he was the one that blocked Kerby Joseph into Locust Point on the only play that happened when the game was in doubt, he gets the spot.

3. DT Justin Madubuike

He’s on pace to be an All-Pro.

2. OC Todd Monken

It could have been either coordinator but the offense set the tone first.

1. QB Lamar Jackson (Man Of The Match)

I mean…holy shit.

Griffin’s Week 7 Pats On The Ass:

5. OC Todd Monken

You can script the opening drive of a game, but somehow, he scripted up the entire first half.

4. TE Mark Andrews

On National TE day, of course he had a big day. Just an absolute weapon in the Red Zone.

3. CB Arthur Maulet

Had great coverage on the Lions on their 4th and 8 play after they finally got their first 1st down of the game, shut down any momentum he could’ve built. Added a sack was involved in the pass rush.

2. LB Kyle Van Noy

Had the Clowney stat line from last week: 2 sacks, 2 TFLs, 2 QB Hits. The D-Line was all over Jared Goff from the jump, and again, this guy was sitting on his couch with Pat Mcafee two weeks ago.

1. QB Lamar Jackson (Man of the Match)

Pretty clear here. MVP-caliber performance.
