Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

As you all are surely aware, the Ravens beat the Bengals last night off a game-winning field goal to win 19-17 on Sunday Night Football in Week 5. As a result, we have some Ass Pats to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further adieu:

Glenn’s Pats To The Ass, Week 5:

5. EDGE Jason Pierre-Paul

Giving the Ravens much more than could have been reasonably expected given the circumstances.

4. WR Devin Duvernay

They desperately needed someone to step up and he did. It will be interesting to see how they use him moving forward.

3. CB Marcus Peters

He was physical, he was intimidating, he was great.

2. TE Mark Andrews

He was basically Mark Andrews.

1. K Justin Tucker (two pats)

He has the juice.

Griffin’s Pats To The Ass, Week 5:

5. WR Devin Duvernay

Glenn won’t say it but I will, DEEBO! I would like to see us continue using him in this fashion plus he was still getting himself open as the only receiver worth covering last night.

4. EDGE Jason Pierre-Paul

A lot of credit has to be given to him for staying game-ready…he played the most snaps of anyone on the defensive front outside of Odafe Oweh, had a sack, a couple pass deflections and a TFL.

3. TE Mark Andrews

He’s just incredible. In the future, I recommend opposing teams don’t leave him wide open in the red zone, maybe that’s just me.

2. CB Marcus Peters

I love that he is on this team because he’s the perfect Raven. He was everywhere and the sack of Tyler Boyd was ice cold.

1. K Justin Tucker (a billion pats)

🐐 🐐 🐐 (could’ve put Jordan Stout here for his first career game winning hold, too)

We also recapped and went over last week’s results in the GCR Picks Contests with another strong week from Griffin…Take a look at the updated standings here:
