You know the drill! But if you’re new, here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always try to reflect on the most recent Ravens game in a more convivial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a ‘Pat On The Ass’ or ‘Slap To The Helmet.’

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

It is in fact five wins a row for the Ravens–and while none of these wins have felt particularly encouraging–they now sit atop the AFC North and have completely put the 1-5 start behind them getting above .500 for the first time this season at 6-5. Here is how the boys saw things playing out Sunday as we dish out our Pats on the Ass for the top performers:

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further adieu:

Glenn Clark’s Week 12 Pats:

5. RB Derrick Henry

It wasn’t a dominant performance but only nine of his 64 yards on the ground came before contact. He made the most of what was there and made sure they actually capitalized on at least two of their (gulp) five trips to the red zone.

4. WR Zay Flowers

If not for the one brutal drop on the sideline, he might have been higher. He was obviously the top target for Lamar Jackson on the day with five catches and got them going when they needed it.

3. EDGE Mike Green

Did you know that Mike Green…leads the Ravens in sacks??? Unfortunately the number is 2.5. Still, he finished the day with a team high five pressures and the one sack.

2. P Jordan Stout

Holy smokes, man. I did not have this on my bingo card for the 2025 season. Stout has been awesome, including of course his career high 74 yard bomb yesterday.

1. EDGE Dre’Mont Jones (two pats)

What a freaking addition Jones has been, a genuine difference maker: 1.5 sacks, 4 pressures, 2 QB hits, another TFL and a pass breakup on the day. He’s just been incredible.

Griffin Bass’s Week 12 Pats:

5. RB Derrick Henry

It was a kind of mediocre day for a RB, he only averaged 3.0 yards/carry, but obviously needed him for those touchdowns in the Redzone.

4. FB Pat Ricard

Only good things happen for the offense when he’s on the field. Watch him on the 2nd Henry touchdown:

3. Safety Kyle Hamilton

It’s the Lamar Jackson effect we’ve had the last 2 seasons. He’s so good that we kind forget about him and then literally you look up and he’s got 10 tackles.

2. P Jordan Stout

Credit where it’s due. What a day. Ties Sam Koch’s record with longest punt in franchise history (74 yards) and you can’t ask for much more on the 67-yarder that went out at the 5.

1. DE Dre’mont Jones (two pats)

I doubt we can expect this every week. Even in plays he wasn’t involved in, he was impacting the game like when he was jarring with the Jets OL and getting under their skin between plays. A Raven.

You can listen as the boys breakdown the win, and look back at the week 12 slate as a whole–recapping the weekend that was in the GCR Picks Contest, the Terps lose to Michigan, and some pretty compelling NFL matchups gave us plenty to discuss:

Here’s a peak at the updated standings in the aforementioned GCR Picks Contest, along with the results from the weekend, an awful week for both Glenn and Griffin:

Finally, an update on the ‘Pats/Slaps’ scoring with the Ravens now 6-5 on the season!
