You know the drill! But if you’re new, here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always try to reflect on the most recent Ravens game in a more convivial manner. In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a ‘Pat On The Ass’ or ‘Slap To The Helmet.’
The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.
Three in a row now for the Ravens! The Ravens go into the Minneapolis and take down the Vikings, powered by the defense and turnovers more than anything. Glenn and Griffin will recap how things played out Sunday as we dish out our Pats on the Ass for the top performers:
They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.
Without further adieu:
Glenn Clark’s Week 10 Pats:
5. WR Zay Flowers
Tough day to find two offensive players. He was the most consistent pass catcher so he gets the spot.
4. RB Derrick Henry
In the second half he did exactly what the Ravens need Derrick Henry to do.
3. EDGE Mike Green
Early on, it looked like Kyle Hamilton would be the best player on the field. But ultimately it was a group effort defensively and Green finished with three QB hits and a massive TFL on Aaron Jones.
2. ST Keondre Jackson
This kid is moving into “Ravens folk hero” territory.
1. DT Travis Jones (two pats)
Boy have they needed this from Travis Jones with Madubuike sidelined. A sack, three QB hits, two pass deflections. He was awesome.
Griffin Bass’s Week 10 Pats:
5. RB Derrick Henry
The Derrick Henry drive as the 3rd quarter expired into the 4th quarter was vintage and won them the game. He was even lead blocking for Lamar multiple times out there!
4. LT Ronnie Stanley
What a day of work. I didn’t see him allow a pressure, let alone a tackle in the run-game.
3. ST Keondre Jackson
Welcome to the Ravens, biggest play of the game right there.
2. EDGE Mike Green
He looked different, regular pressure on “Nine”, hurrying him, making him antsy. I notice he’s on the field more and more, coming closer to an every-down backer and obviously impacting back the pass and run, as evidenced by that huge -5 yard TFL.
1. DL Travis Jones (two pats)
He had the best statistical game of anyone on the field, while getting doubled half the time!
