Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

After the Ravens stunning loss to the Miami Dolphins where nobody got of the buys Thursday night, Glenn and Paul have some Slaps to the Helmet to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Slaps to the Helmet.  That one player who one slap just wouldn’t isn’t enough.

Without further ado:

Glenn’s Slaps to the Helmet:

5. LB Patrick Queen

It’s quite frustrating because he made a REALLY great play and that’s a positive thing. But that was a huge opportunity to make a game-changing play when there was still lots of time.

4. S Chuck Clark

I don’t think the late pass to Albert Wilson was ENTIRELY his fault. But it was at least a good bit his fault and the optic was REALLY bad. And

3. C Bradley Bozeman

The good news for the rest of the offensive line is that I only have room to include one offensive lineman on my list. But the snaps were all over the place and that can’t be ignored.

2. OC Greg Roman

It was an incredibly poor performance. The players themselves deserve a LOT of the blame. But the 3rd down calls were totally insane and the lack of adjustments are inexcusable.

1. WR Sammy Watkins (two slaps)

Was he the worst player on the field last night? No. Probably not. But he’s the one player whose two worst plays would have been a 13 point swing in a 12 point loss. That’s…overwhelming.

Paul Valle’s Slaps to the Helmet:

5. Anthony Averett

He dropped an interception. Honestly, the defense played pretty well so this was a stretch

4. Chuck Clark

He looked lost all night, and on that big play in the fourth quarter, even if that wasn’t his man, as the so called “smartest player on the team,” you have to see that he’s not covered and make a play

3. Bradley Bozeman

His snaps were atrocious and he is part of an offensive line that gave Lamar zero time all night

2. Sammy Watkins

Got alligator arms on a potential TD. He has one catch and he fumbles it for a TD. Pretty self-explanatory

1. Greg Roman

His offense looked lost and they made no adjustments. Every drive was exactly the same. Every third down play was exactly the same. It was a terrible game plan and they did nothing to switch it up. Also, GET RASHOD BATEMAN THE BALL!!!!!!! HE’S YOUR BEST WIDE RECEIVER!!!!!!
