Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

As you all are surely aware, the Ravens beat the Broncos emphatically in Week 4, and as a result, we have some Ass Pats to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass.  That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further ado:

Glenn’s Pats on the Ass, Week 4:

5. EDGE Odafe Oweh

Third down sacks are the types of game changing plays that you draft a player in the first round to make.

4. WR Marquise “Hollywood” Brown

And those are the types of plays that you expect a top notch receiver to make, even if they had a rough week the week before.

3. WR James Proche

He was tremendous. It was a revelation.

2. QB Lamar Jackson

His tentativeness running the ball remains a concern but obviously he was great otherwise.

1. LB Tyus Bowser (two pats)

You should probably come out to the next Tyus Bowser Show. It’s Tuesday, October 19 at Twain’s Tavern in Pasadena.

Kyle Ottenheimer’s Pats on the Ass, Week 3:

5. Anthony Averett

He continues to play very well and has proven himself to be a high-level outside cornerback at a time the team desperately needed him to step up.

4. James Proche

The emergence of more viable contributors at wide receiver will forever be a positive when it comes to the Baltimore Ravens as they slowly look to shake the proverbial monkey off their back at that position.

3. Marquise Brown

Similar to Proche’s blurb, it was also good to see him rebound from last week’s performance in stylish fashion.

2. Lamar Jackson

Might not have been the way we want the Ravens to look on a weekly basis, but he was once again impressive throwing the football and did all that was needed to win comfortably.

1. Tyus Bowser

For a player who often contributes in ways that aren’t reflected on the stat sheet, it was good to see him get a couple sacks and reinforce that he was worth the extension to those who only care about that stat from the position.
