Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner. In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.
The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.
As you all are surely aware, the Ravens beat the Bengals in massive AFC North bout in Week 2, and as a result, we have some Ass Pats to hand out.
They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass. That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.
Without further adieu:
Glenn Clark’s Pats On The Ass:
5. LB Patrick Queen
It’s just so insane how well he’s playing.
4. WR Nelson Agholor
DEPTH AT WIDE RECEIVER? In Baltimore?
3. OT Patrick Mekari
He didn’t allow a single pressure against Trey Hendrickson. I can’t say enough how insane this is.
2. S Geno Stone
He made the biggest play of the game, running out of bounds for no reason aside.
1. QB Lamar Jackson (Man Of The Match)
That was special. Imagine what kind of idiot wouldn’t put Lamar Jackson on their list after that.
Griffin Bass’ Pats On The Ass:
5. DE Jadaveon Clowney –
The lone sack, but when they absolutely needed it and stepped in Oweh’s absence.
4. WR Nelson Agholor
Looks great as a WR 3 or 4 in this offense.
3. C Sam Mustipher
Great story, maybe a better performance. When I saw Ben Cleveland was the backup center today, I was worried, Sam made sure I didn’t have to worry.
2. OC Todd Monken
The opening drive was absolutely beautiful, great at mixing it up and getting the entire offense involved and it feels so nice to not be rushing to the line of scrimmage every play.
1. S Geno Stone
Made the biggest play of the game and didn’t come off the felt. Felt like Marcus Williams never even left.
We also recapped picks for this week, as Griffin claimed the side bet against Glenn and has now moved to the top of the table. If you missed any of the segment(s-they got contentious!), click play below to listen.
