Here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always reflect on the Baltimore Ravens game in a more jovial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

As you all are surely aware, the Ravens beat the Bengals in convincing fashion in Week 17, and as a result, we have some Ass Pats to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Pats on the Ass.  That one player who one single Pat just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further ado:

Glenn’s Pats on the Ass, Week 17:

5. Cornerback Marcus Peters

It was good to have him back, it was particularly enjoyable to see him make a play.

4. Wide Receiver Miles Boykin

This is a little about him making a huge play yesterday and a lot about him playing quite well for the better part of a month now.

3. Safety Chuck Clark

Not just the interception, he broke up two other passes as well.

2. Quarterback Lamar Jackson

He didn’t have to do a lot. But what he had to do, he did well despite being let down by Marquise Brown.

1. Running Back J.K. Dobbins (two pats)

He was the best player on the field for sure.

Kyle’s Pats on the Ass, Week 17:

  1. Patrick Queen

There weren’t a whole lot of truly standout plays throughout this game on defense, and you could make an argument Peters belongs for making one of two, but Queen played a good game overall.

4. Chuck Clark

His interception was the a find cap to an otherwise steady, strong performnace.

3. Miles Boykin

Had Hollywood Brown caught his deep pass, this would have surely been his spot (if not higher), but Boykin continues to make the plays he’s given the chances to make.

2. Lamar Jackson

His numbers would have been further aided by the aforementioned drop by Brown, but Lamar played a good game overall both throwing and running.

1. J.K. Dobbins

Is 12 yards per carry good? I think that might be good.
