Update: Michael joined us on Glenn Clark Radio Friday to discuss why this is so important to him. Please watch or listen to the interview below and read on to learn on you can help!
So we’ve reached the final part of our annual drive to help Baltimore’s Helping Up Mission.
I am overwhelmed that you all have already raised $3,000 that we can spend to take care of the men and women who are trying to lift up their lives at Helping Up Mission. Words truly cannot explain what that means to us.
But…we’d like to do a little more.
Next Monday, December 18th, Drew Forrester and I are going to do what we like the most in the world. We’re going to go to Chick-Fil-A. Chick-Fil-A Nottingham Square to be specific. That’s the Chick-Fil-A at 5198 Campbell Boulevard outside of Target and Best Buy NEAR White Marsh. (Don’t make the mistake of going to the Chick-Fil-A in the White Marsh Mall. We won’t be there!)
We’ll be there from 6-7:30. What we’re asking you to do is bring us opened toiletries and/or men’s and women’s undergarments. Actually, please allow Helping Up Mission to say specifically what the men need:

And here’s what the women need:

We’re asking you to bring (at least) $25 worth of these items and/or to make a $25 donation. (We’ll accept cash, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp or some new app we’re not familiar with yet.
And as a thank you, we’ll give you the opportunity to meet the man who is in the midst of his best career season, Ravens Defensive Tackle Michael Pierce!

“Do you need anything else? Coats? Jackets? Sweaters/sweatshirts?”
Sure. Please bring them as well. But this isn’t a coat drive. It’s a toiletry/underwear drive. We NEED the items on the lists you saw. Please bring those to donate and we’ll take anything else you have at the same time and get it to the folks who need it.
See you Monday night. Thank you as always.
