You all are amazing.
Over the last couple of weeks, you raised $2,500 to help us help Helping Up Mission via our raffle contest. THANK YOU. Unfortunately, only 7/100 of you could be winners and we notified the winners last week.
But those $2,500 will go towards toiletries and underwear for the men and women currently trying to put their lives back together at Helping Up Mission. Combined with the $150 we had already raised from our 50/50 NBA In-Season Tournament pool, we’ve already raised $2,650.
I’d like to make it $3,000. Target in White Marsh has promised to stretch our money out a good bit, so $3,000 would go a LONG way.
The next step is very simple. We are hosting our annual College Football Bowl Pick’em pool. It’s a 50/50 pool. We need 35 people TOTAL to chip in with $20. Half of the pot ($350) will go to the winner. The other half of the pot ($350) will go to our drive, bringing us to…$3,000.
You don’t have to know college football. No one knows which players are even playing in these games. It’s one point per game with a points tiebreaker on the CFP title game so we’ll have only one winner.
