MLB legend Andruw Jones was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Friday (before he calls Orioles/Braves for NBC & Peacock Sunday).
Among the topics he discussed were:
-What he makes of the young Orioles so far and how their success could be good for all of baseball
-The idea that the Orioles should be looking to model themselves after the Braves in terms of committing to young talent early
-How the Braves have built up “The Battery,” the area around Truist Park-which the Orioles visited with Governor Wes Moore in hopes to replicate around Camden Yards
-As a player who did a lot of things, does he feel like the rules changes this year have benefitted the sport?
-After his explosive start in 1996, he struggled a bit in 1997. What is his advice to Orioles fans about Gunnar Henderson’s struggles this year?
