You all have been so kind. Between our raffle and our World Cup draws, you have already raised over $3,000 for us to use to help the folks at Helping Up Mission. You all are amazing.
But admittedly, I’m selfish. I’d like raise a little more.
So we’re offering you two more opportunities. First, we’re doing our annual Bowl Pick’em contest. It’s very simple. You’ll make your picks for all of this year’s college football bowl games. One singular winner will get half of the pot, while the other half will go to our collection drive. So if 25 people sign up (with a $20 buy in), the winner would get $250 and the rest to Helping Up. (We will try not to go past 40 to make sure everyone has a chance.)

As you’ll remember, this year we are not collecting coats but instead toiletries and underwear. So we haven’t done as much in terms of “collection” because these aren’t items you can just go pull out of your closet. However, if you’d like to donate items specifically, Drew Forrester & I will be at Glory Days Grill in Towson from 6-8pm on Monday, December 19th. This is an informal hang out event. Just please stop by, have a beer (and some delicious thigh wings) and we’ll tell you all of the stories we’re legally allowed to share.
