Coppin State baseball coach Sherman Reed was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Thursday.
Among the topics he discussed were:
-Their dramatic MEAC Tournament title win, coming from behind to score 10 runs in the last two innings
-Getting back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1995
-Why reaching the Tournament with Coppin is so particularly meaningful for Reed, a Towson alum and West Baltimore native
-Having the team watch “On & Coppin” to learn about the school’s upset history and what it might take to beat East Carolina in the Greenville Regional
-Sophomore Jordan Hamberg, who is up for the John Olerud Award as the best two way player in college baseball
