Nothing drives sports radio conversation like a good Hall of Fame debate. And of course, there’s a big one being debated this week. That’s right, earlier this month, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced their nominees for the Class of 2023.
Naturally, we invited our friend Spiro Morekas, the longtime play-by-play voice of the Towson University Tigers, and music aficionado to join us in-studio and break down the ballot.
We debated each nominee and assigned them into one of three categories: either a strong candidate, a mild candidate, or someone who doesn’t belong.
Glenn’s Ballot
Strong: Missy Elliot, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against The Machine, The Spinners, A Tribe Called Quest, The White Stripes
Mild: Sheryl Crow, Iron Maiden, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, Warren Zevon
No: Kate Bush, Joy Division/New Order
