We’ve had an informal tournament bracket contest within the GCR community for the last few years. We’re formalizing it a bit this year.
Our friend Drew Forrester (DrewsMorningDish.com) is working with the Immaculate Heart of Mary Outreach Ministry. They are helping folks in the area with a number of needs but they specifically need toiletries and similar products right now.
So we’re going to marry these two concepts together. We’ll fill 50 spots in our bracket contest this year. The spots will be $20 each. Since that simple math tells me we’ll be collecting $1,000-we’ll split it out this way:
$500 for the singular winner (we’ll use title game points to break any ties)
$250 for second place
$250 we’ll put aside to purchase toiletries to help the folks served by IHM
