Josh Odunowo Says UMBC “Bought In” To Jim Ferry’s Defensive Message, Helping Retrievers To America East Regular Season Title

UMBC grad student forward Josh Odunowo was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Thursday.

Among the topics he discussed were:
-How they bought into Jim Ferry’s message about defense before the season and dramatically improved from where they were defensively a season ago
-Their unselfishness and how any player can be their “alpha” on any night
-Continuing to roll (with a blowout win at NJIT) even after clinching the America East regular season title and knowing the job isn’t done going into the America East Tournament
-When did he realize how special this team had a chance to be
-What it has meant to him (as a Laurel native) to find success at home over the last two seasons after transferring from Columbia
