Nothing drives sports radio conversation like a good Hall of Fame debate. And of course, there’s a big one being debated this week. That’s right, in February, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced their nominees for the Class of 2026.

Naturally, we invited our friend Spiro Morekas, the longtime play-by-play voice of the Towson University Tigers, and music aficionado to join us and break down the ballot as we did the last three years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

We debated each nominee and assigned them into one of three categories: either a strong candidate, a mild candidate, or someone who doesn’t belong. And ranked how strongly we feel about each nominee in their respective category.

Glenn’s Ballot:

Strong: 1. Mariah Carey, 2. Phil Collins, 3. Wu-Tang Clan, 4. Oasis, 5. The Black Crowes, 6. Luther Vandross, 7. Billy Idol

Mild: 1. Ms. Lauryn Hill, 2. P!nk, 3. New Edition, 4. INXS, 5. Sade, 6. Melissa Etheridge, 7. Iron Maiden

No: Jeff Buckley, New Order/Joy Division, Shakira

Spiro’s Ballot:

Strong: 1. Phil Collins, 2. Sade, 3. Mariah Carey

Mild: The Black Crowes, Melissa Etheridge, Iron Maiden, P!nk, Luther Vandross, Wu-Tang Clan (listed in alphabetical order)
