Kittredge And Stallings Pick Up First, Rogers Nails Down Third #ManOfTheMatch In Orioles’ Sweep Of Braves

As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

Andrew Kittredge came in during the one spot where the Orioles’ 3-2 July 4 win over the Braves was in doubt. He got a quick double play and recorded five total outs without allowing a baserunner, enough for his first #ManOfTheMatch of the season. Jacob Stallings was called into emergency duty in the 9-6 (10 innings) win July 5 and came through with a game-icing two run double, picking up his first #MOTM. And Trevor Rogers delivered 6.2 shutout innings, allowing just six baserunners in the 2-1 win July 6. That was enough for his third #MOTM, tying the team high.

Here’s the tally for the season:
