Dominant Start Delivers Povich Second #ManOfTheMatch Of Season

As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We recently received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

Cade “Slim” Povich delivered 7.1 shutout innings in the win over the White Sox September 3, allowing just five hits and no walks while striking out ten. Even against the White Sox, that’s more than enough for his second #MOTM of the season.
