Strong Effort In Leverage Spot Against Dodgers Gives Matt Bowman His First #ManOfTheMatch

As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We recently received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

Reliever Matt Bowman entered in a tough spot in the fifth inning and proceeded to pick up five huge outs, setting the tone for 4.2 scoreless innings from the bullpen in the August 28 win over the Dodgers. That effort netted him his first #MOTM honor.
