As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We recently received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Look, pretty much anyone in the lineup could’ve been MOTM for the Orioles’ June 20th win over the Yankees. But Henderson was the tone setter, and particularly after all of the nonsense from the night before it felt fitting for him to be the guy.
Here’s the tally for the season:
Gunnar Henderson – 5
Cole Irvin – 4
Jorge Mateo – 4
Jordan Westburg – 4
Corbin Burnes – 3
Ryan Mountcastle – 3
Grayson Rodriguez – 3
Adley Rutschman – 3
