FOX NFL rules analyst and former NFL Director of Officiating Mike Pereira was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Wednesday.
Among the topics he discussed were:
-Troy Vincent bringing up last year’s controversial Isaiah Likely overturned touchdown from the Steelers game when discussing reviews the NFL would want “do overs” for but then the league maybe suggesting otherwise
-Should the NFL just change the catch rule to require a third step by definition?
-The suggestion that the NFL is considering giving more responsibilities to New York, like potentially adding egregious face mask or interference penalties
-Will the NFL be monitoring the UFL’s Tush Push ban with reports that the league isn’t hot about the subject currently?
-Other game play changes coming to the UFL-like four point field goals and no punting on the other side of the 50 and whether the NFL will consider similar changes
