Maryland senior midfielder/Olney native Albi Ndrenika (Sherwood/Baltimore Armour) was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Wednesday.

Among the topics he discussed were:
-What it has meant to be a part of a team that has restored Maryland soccer to the highest level they expect to be at after some struggles in recent years
-Scoring the first goal in their NCAA Tournament win over UConn and why it was especially meaningful after some jawing from a Huskies defender
-His own path to Maryland including his experience playing for Blast legend Mike Lookingland with Baltimore Armour and injuries he dealt with early in his collegiate career
-The inspiration they got from coach Sasho Cirovski showing them his 2018 NCAA Championship ring at the start of the year and being around the legendary 2005 NCAA Championship team for their 20th anniversary celebration
-Facing a Washington team in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals that they just faced (and beat) a few weeks back
