Glenn and Griffin are bringing back our tradition we started last year for this 2025 baseball season Mondays on GCR with ‘Three Up and Three Down’ where we rank the best and worst Orioles performers of the week, much like how we do with Pats on the Ass and Slaps to the Helmet during football season after Ravens games. The guys will each name three players, three trending up, three trending down, based on how they did for that week specifically.

In the final week of the season, the Orioles are swept by the Yankees in the Bronx after taking two of three from the Rays in the final home stand. Here is how Glenn and Griffin saw the team shaking down in the final ‘Three Up and Three Down’ of the season:

Glenn’s Three Up:

3. 3B Jordan Westburg

An 8-24 week with a couple of home runs was a decent way to finish things up in a trying season.

2. 1B Coby Mayo

And he reached base eight times in 16 plate appearances including his own pair of home runs.

1. SP Dean Kremer

One hit (and one walk) over 7.2IP. We’ll probably overvalue Kremer’s performance for the season but he definitely had his moments.

Griffin’s Three Up:

3. 3B Jordan Westburg

Nice home runs to end the season.

2. 1B Coby Mayo

Nice home runs to end the season

1. SP Dean Kremer

Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit.

Glenn’s Three Down:

3. C Samuel Basallo

An 0-13 week with eight strikeouts, quite the bummer for his final week of the season.

2. INF Jackson Holliday

His 1-14 week with three walks wasn’t much better.

1. C Adley Rutschman

He had the exact same numbers (although the hit was a triple!) and it feels kinda fitting.

Griffin’s Three Down:

3. 2B Jackson Holliday

Two really bad weeks to end the season for Jackson, disappointing.

2.  SP Cade Povich

Further proof that he is unfortunately not a solution in this thing.

1. C Samuel Basallo

Maybe he was hurt after getting hit on the hand but he was bad. Can’t strikeout in over half your plate appearances while going 0-for-13 (8 strikeouts). Very discouraging.

We’re in the the throws of the NFL season now so no audio for the boys this week… but here’s a look at the final ‘3-Up and 3-Down’ standings. Scoring is simple: 3 points awarded to the top player in ‘Three Up’ each week (then 2 points and 1 point), -3 points for the top player in ‘Three Down’ each week (then -2 points and -1 point):
