Three Run Homer Lifts Mayo To Second #ManOfTheMatch As Orioles Avoid Being Swept By Phillies

As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

Coby Mayo went 2-4 in the Orioles’ 5-1 win over the Phillies August 6, clubbing a three run homer that provided the necessary separation. That was enough to nail down his second #MOTM of the season.
