Glenn and Griffin are bringing back our tradition we started last year for this 2025 baseball season Mondays on GCR with ‘Three Up and Three Down’ where we rank the best and worst Orioles performers of the week, much like how we do with Pats on the Ass and Slaps to the Helmet during football season after Ravens games. The guys will each name three players, three trending up, three trending down, based on how they did for that week specifically.

While the Orioles took two of three against the Mets, they went the exact opposite way against the Braves to finish 3-3 for the week. Griffin shared his Three Up from his vacation and Grant DeVivo joined us this week.

Glenn’s Three Up:

3. OF Ramón Laureano

He OPS-ed over 1.000 and drove in seven runs. Sorry Tony Mansolino, seven “points.”

2. SS Gunnar Henderson

OPS-ed 1.213 for the week with four of his hits going for extra bases including a particularly notable pinch hit appearance.

1. SP Dean Kremer

He’s capable of this, which makes the other guy so much more frustrating.

Griffin’s Three Up:

3. OF Ramón Laureano

Drove in seven runs this week, pretty cool to see him make himself a legitimate trade asset.

2. SS Gunnar Henderson

He’s starting to look like Gunnar Henderson again, that pinch-hit homer on Thursday was the best moment of the season so far. Too bad it does not matter.

1. SP Dean Kremer

It was the best performance of the week.

Grant’s Three Up:

3. OF Ramón Laureano

2. SP Dean Kremer

1. SP Trevor Rogers

Glenn’s Three Down:

3. RP Bryan Baker

All of my homies said they’d rather have Slater de Brun than Bryan Baker.

(Appreciate the good times and not so much the last time, BB.)

2. SP Brandon Young

The first start was…okay. The Sunday start was…unmitigated.

1. OF Tyler O’Neill

For those of you that are unaware, Tyler O’Neill returned last week.

Griffin’s Three Down:

3.  3B Ramón Urías

He was bad. 0-for-13? Yikes, you cannot ignore that. Glove still works, though, and the fact that you know, he wasn’t really ever supposed to be the catalyst of this team. It doesn’t factor in, but dating back to last week, he’s 0-for his last 20, the bright side is he isn’t striking out quite that much (until he faced Eury Perez yesterday).

2. OF Tyler O’Neill

He’s awful. Simple as that. It’s crazy how terrible this signing is proving to be every single day. He’s healthy now, so at least he’s got that going for him.

1. RP Bryan Baker

A sad way to go out because he really was a part of some big moments for this team the last two seasons and had been having a great year. That aside, Tuesday night was horrendous, had a chance to set the tone for the whole week and actually give us hope. That did not happen.

Grant’s Three Down:

3. OF Tyler O’Neill

2. RP Yennier Canó

1. RP Scott Blewett

Season long standings will return next week. Scoring is simple: 3 points awarded to the top player in ‘Three Up’ each week (then 2 points and 1 point), -3 points for the top player in ‘Three Down’ each week (then -2 points and -1 point).
