As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Gunnar Henderson delivered a spectacular pinch hit go ahead two run homer to lift the Orioles to a 3-1 win over the Mets in the first game of a July 10 doubleheader. Those dramatics gave him his second #ManOfTheMatch honor of the year. Then Alex Jackson(?!) had a pair of doubles, scoring two runs and driving one in as the Orioles finished off the sweep with a 7-3 win. That was enough for his first career #ManOfTheMatch.
