Our GCR Summer Intern Jake (aka Alexander Wilson) is a big music fan and decided that every Tuesday he will try his best to introduce Glenn and Griffin to some new music, while also efforting to keep Glenn in tune with what young people are in to.
Among things we’ll dive into are some stories dominating headlines in the music world, plus we’re going to play a little game we like to call ‘Hip or Skip’ in which Alex will play the boys a 20-30 second clip from a song and we decide if we’re ‘hip’ to it or if it’s a ‘skip’.
This week for ‘Hip or Skip’ Alex played three songs from Gunna, Dierks Bentley and Kendra Morris–whom neither Glenn nor Griffin had heard of. Plus, Intern Jake got into some “newsworthy” topics from the week, like an update on how strong Wiz Khalifa’s lungs are and he wanted to reveal his top two songs of all time.
