Our GCR Summer Intern Jake (aka Alexander Wilson) is a big music fan and decided that every Tuesday he will try his best to introduce Glenn and Griffin to some new music, while also efforting to keep Glenn in tune with what young people are in to.
Among things we’ll dive into are some stories dominating headlines in the music world, plus we’re going to play a little game we like to call ‘Hip or Skip’ in which Alex will play the boys a 20-30 second clip from a song and we decide if we’re ‘hip’ to it or if it’s a ‘skip’.
This week for ‘Hip or Skip’ Alex played these three songs for the guys per usual and is starting to get the hang of the segment as we dove into some more mainstream songs that Glenn and Griffin were not familiar with, plus we got into some topics from the week after the BET Awards and the news of Sly Stone passing away on Monday.
