As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Zach Eflin went seven shutout innings in the 2-1 win over the White Sox May 30, picking up his second #MOTM nod of the season. Jorge Mateo reached base in all three of his plate appearances and added his first home run of the season in the 4-2 win May 31, picking up his first #MOTM honor of the year. Charlie Morton allowed just one unearned run over 6.2 innings in the 3-2 win June 1, nabbing his second #MOTM of the year.
