-The possibility of a successful rookie class from last year (including Rookie of the Year TJ Malone and Loyola alum Adam Poitras) taking a step forward this year
-What rookie defenseman Scott Smith (Johns Hopkins) brings to them
-Brendan Krebs getting the first chance to be the goalie but feeling strongly about Emmet Carroll as well
-Trying to get Jake Bernhardt to campaign to get his brother (Maryland legend Jared Bernhardt) to join him instead of his other brother Jesse in Denver
