Morton’s Strong Start Against Cardinals Makes Him Third Straight Unlikely #ManOfTheMatch

As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”

In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.

We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.

Charlie Morton worked six strong innings, allowing just two earned runs and six baserunners while striking out five Cardinals in the Orioles’ 5-2 win over St. Louis May 26. After a disastrous start to the season, it gave him his first #MOTM honor of the year.

Cedric Mullins-2 (March 31, April 12)
Tomoyuki Sugano-2 (April 17, May 9)
Félix Bautista-1 (April 28)
