As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Not only did Félix Bautista sit the Yankees down 1-2-3 to finish off a 4-3 win April 28, he did so with two strikeouts-including striking out Aaron Judge while he represented the tying run. It was a definitive “I’m Back” moment for the closer, earning him #MOTM honors for the first time since 2023.
Here’s the tally for the season:
Jackson Holliday-2 (April 5, April 16)
Cedric Mullins-2 (March 31, April 12)
Félix Bautista-1 (April 28)
Zach Eflin-1 (April 7)
Ramón Laureano-1 (April 19)
Tyler O’Neill-1 (March 27)
Cade Povich-1 (April 24)
