As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Ramón Laureano “wasn’t even supposed to be here today” but he made the most of it nonetheless. He hit two home runs off the bench in the Orioles’ 9-5 win over the Reds April 19, giving him his first career #MOTM honor.
Here’s the tally for the season:
Jackson Holliday-2 (April 5, April 16)
Cedric Mullins-2 (March 31, April 12)
Zach Eflin-1 (April 7)
Ramón Laureano-1 (April 19)
Tyler O’Neill-1 (March 27)
Tomoyuki Sugano-1 (April 17)
Ramón Urías-1 (March 29)
