As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Almost anyone could have been #ManOfTheMatch in the Orioles’ season-opening 12-2 win over the Blue Jays March 27. Cedric Mullins and Adley Rutschman were strong candidates and so was Zach Eflin. But the new guy goes on the board first. Tyler O’Neill’s Opening Day dominance continued, reaching base every time he came to the plate. He finished 3-3 with two walks, 3 runs and of course the three run homer that opened the game up a bit.
