Mount St. Mary’s basketball coach Donny Lind was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Tuesday.
Among the topics he discussed were:
-How he was able to retain a veteran group of players and grow with them after taking over for Dan Engelstad
-The team responding particularly well even after Terrell Ard Jr. tore his achilles
-Why he went and wiped the floor himself at one point during the MAAC Tournament championship game
-What it means to him to deliver a MAAC Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in year one for the school that gave him his first chance as both a head coach and previously as an assistant
-Facing American in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and why he’s good with playing in the First Four in Dayton (particularly given his history at VCU)
