As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We recently received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Cade Povich allowed just three baserunners over 5.2 shutout innings in the Orioles’ win over the Twins September 27, netting him his third #MOTM of the year. Emmanuel Rivera went 4-4 with two home runs and a double and scored three runs in the September 28 win over the Twins, giving him his second #MOTM of the season. And Albert Suárez allowed just two runs on four hits and a walk over six innings in the September 29 win over the Twins, picking up his sixth #MOTM.
