You should know the drill by now, but if you’re new, here at Glenn Clark Radio, we always try to reflect on the most recent Ravens game in a more convivial manner.  In retrospect, we like to choose five players on the team who — depending on the outcome of the game — deserve a Pat On The Ass or Slap To The Helmet.

The rules are simple: pick two players on defense, two players on offense, and one “wild card” (an offensive player, defensive player, special teamer or coach) who stuck out from the pack.

As you all are surely aware, the Ravens fell short to the Kansas City Chiefs last night in a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game eight months prior back in here in Baltimore, as a result, we have some Helmet Slaps to hand out.

They will count down in sequential order before we name the ultimate prize — Two Slaps to the Helmet. That one player who one single Slap just wouldn’t sit right.

Without further adieu:

Glenn’s Pats on the Ass:

5. S Kyle Hamilton

He looked MUCH more like Kyle Hamilton.

4. OL Daniel Faalele

Significant bounceback performance. Doesn’t end concerns but alleviates.

3. QB Lamar Jackson

Would have been higher had he not missed the 3rd down throw to Mark Andrews but still, he was very good.

2. EDGE Kyle Van Noy

This is downright heroic.

1. RB Derrick Henry (two pats)

That’s what having Derrick Henry is supposed to be like.

Griffin’s Pats on the Ass:

5. RG Daniel Faalele

Because Lamar told me to. And because he obviously had a great game, they did a great job of playing to this team’s strength, which is great for a young OL. Plus, Faalele was the pulling guard, throwing a game-winning block, on Lamar’s final run to seal the game, as pointed out by Dan Orlovsky.

4. Safety Kyle Hamilton

That looked like Kyle Hamilton, still know he can be better, but that was a very strong performance, always on the ball.

3. OLB Kyle Van Noy

I mean are you kidding me? He was wreaking havoc on Dak and that backfield, was in on the should-be safety, the best performance on the defense on top of the fact that he has a broken orbital.

2. QB Lamar Jackson

Did exactly what they needed to win. Only dropped back to pass 15 times, picking up a first on 3-and-6 and then running for the first down on that final drive. Winning football.

1. RB Derrick Henry (two pats)

He was unstoppable. Best player on the field yesterday.

The guys also recapped the week in ‘Picks’ as well, here is the updated table:
