As you’re almost certainly aware, after every Orioles win this season, Glenn determines a “Man Of The Match,” which some have called “the highest honor in all of sports.”
In addition to the social media recognition, the player’s face also goes into a featured position on our “Never Lose Ever” board in the studio.
We recently received requests to keep an updated tally of how many “Man Of The Match” nods each player has received for the season. We’ll keep that tally here and update it regularly.
Emmanuel Rivera provided all of the early offense (a two run homer and an RBI single) in the Orioles’ August 30 win over the Rockies, netting him his first #MOTM of his short time in Baltimore. Zach Eflin returned from the IL (without a rehab appearance) in the September 1 win over the Rockies and didn’t miss a beat. He worked seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits and one walk and picked up his fourth #MOTM of the year.
