Giants first baseman/Maryland alum and Baltimore native LaMonte Wade Jr. (St. Paul’s) was a guest on Glenn Clark Radio Thursday.

Among the topics he discussed were:
-The role that new Maryland Baseball coach Matt Swope played in the initial MLB success he found and the level he’s raised his game to this year
-A great story about how his relationship with Swope developed when Swope once kicked him out of a practice
-His belief that Swope’s passion for Maryland can lead the program to even greater success
-How he has improved significantly this season in getting on base
-Getting the chance to play against his hometown team (the Orioles) earlier this season and coming to Camden Yards next year
